Activities in Carson City for June 3-4

Carson City Downtown Wine Walk

Scheduled this weekend is the once per month Wine Walk. Hosted by the Carson City Downtown Business Association, local businesses open up along Downtown Carson City pouring wine for guests.

Buy your tickets online here, and show up between 1 and 3 pm to enjoy the atmosphere and discover Carson City Local Businesses. This particular Wine Walk will also have entertainment from the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West: Mobility. This free concert will feature high energy rock music from 3 to 5 pm.

Train Rides at the Nevada State Railroad Museum

Catch a ride at the Nevada State Railroad Museum! A 40 minute ride will take you from the front of the museum in a loop around the museum grounds. Escape a bit of that summer sun and get a taste of history in this fantastic train!

Or take a ride at Mills Park with the smaller train and check

out the model train build at in the ticket building.

Bonsai Club

This weekend also hosts the Bonsai Club at the Greenhouse Garden Center. Take an hour at a locally owned greenhouse and learn from Ken Jones.
